Hello folks!

I know you’ve  all enjoyed the Bits of Nonsense that I’ve been throwing at you lately, but I’ve whetted your appetite enough and now you’re ready for something more, right?  Well I’m currently in talks with about 4 different Escape Artists.  I’m hoping to feature one or more pieces from them on my blogsite in the next couple of months.  So, if I’ve worked the phones correctly, hopefully, you will soon have something more substantial to sink your teeth into than the hors d’oeuvres I’ve been serving up the last few weeks.

In the next few days, I’m planning to post a Christmas-themed short story that I wrote for a Christmas anthology that is scheduled to be published by a local press in hardcopy form later this month.  Unfortunately, my story was not selected for inclusion into the anthology… which is good news for you because now you’ll get to see it for free! 

Okay… yes, you’re right.  I do have ulterior motives for letting you see this story for free.  I’m hoping to make you aware of a special need that you might not have been aware of before and, in so doing, tug at your heartstrings just enough to put you in the Christmas giving spirit.  But most of all, I hope you will find the story encouraging, uplifting, and entertaining.

I think you’re in for a real treat!  All the media polls are saying that you guys are paying close attention to the issues surrounding this election cycle.   Well, I have a good friend who has written a great investigative article about events that recently unfolded in the small town of Temperature Falls,  NJ, and I think I’ve convinced him to let me reprint the article here.  Strange as it may seem, the events chronicled in this article are bound to make you re-examine your position on what has been one of the hot button issues during this presidential campaign!

Greetings all!

Greetings and Welcome to my very first blogsite on the web!  As you may have guessed, I am an accountant by trade.  It’s a fine job and a fine way to keep the bills paid, but analyzing all those numbers gets a little tiresome after a while and, eventually, the other side of my brain cries out for release.  (For some reason, they don’t approve of “creative accounting”.)

So…hopefully, this will be a fun way to help me exercise my creativity with lots of flash fiction, short stories, and other nonsensical bits submitted for your amusement.
