If you’ve been wondering what Escape Artist Joyce Scarbrough has been up to, today is your lucky day!
Word on the street is that Joyce has just completed a bonafide romantic Valentine’s Day short story! Furthermore, I’ve heard talk that she is planning to submit this story for publication in an upcoming anthology that will feature strong female characters. If you’ve managed to get your hands on her book Different Roads, you know that she has brought to life one feisty female character in the form of Jaycee Stevens. And if you scoffed up a copy of the anthology Christmas is a Season 2008 which featured her short story “Hope Chest”, you know that Joyce has no trouble tugging at heartstrings.
No word yet when we might see this Valentine’s Day story in published form, but when we do, be ready to laugh, cry, and maybe even get fighting mad!
P.S. Even though Joyce specializes in keeping the Kleenex company in business, I know for a fact that she also has a silly side. If you don’t believe me, click here to check out a chain story that she started called “Library Vampire Lover”!
